OUR LESSONS
We offer a wide variety of lessons at the Tenchu Martial Arts 天誅武道 Dojo for all ages! Your first lesson with us is free so contact us to book in or alternatively pop in to a lesson that suits your schedule. We are the only martial arts school in Rugby that specialises in 35 forms of traditional weaponry and holds live blade insurance to teach test cutting with Nihontō (Japanese Samurai Swords).

WHAT STUDENTS SAY
OUR MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES
We offer a selection of lesson packages tailored to suit your availability and to help make the dojo as accessible as possible to all students. This means all you have to do is concentrate on your training and obtaining your 1st Degree Black Belt (Shodan).
We do not offer one lesson a week as what we teach is very comprehensive and attending once a week just isn’t enough to absorb the art and progress through the ranks to obtain your belts. Anyone can throw a punch or kick but what we teach you gives you a well rounded and comprehensive understanding of traditional martial arts, Reality based self defence and scenario based training which takes time, hours of practice and dedication to the art. We call it Budo (Warrior Way) or Ninpo (Ninja Way Of Life), You have to live it and experience it yourself to become proficient much like it you were learning to play a musical instrument.

One of the great things about Tenchu Martial Arts is we have an extensive network with some of the UKs best martial arts instructors and equipment suppliers.
We call this the Tenchu Society 天誅社会 which is invite only.
This is a paid service that not only allows you access to a network of our instructors but also provides a variety of in house services and coaching. Perfect for martial arts instructors!

Tenchu Martial Arts 天誅武道 is hosting Rudolph Jung (French Counter Terror Police) and Julien Masson (Adrenaline Combatives) in March 2025/and they will be covering some top tier arrest and restraint, tactical flashlight and combatives techniques to help you learn how to navigate a variety of scenarios to ensure you have the best possibility of survival.
